Smart Glass

Smart glass or switchable glass (also smartwindows or switchable window in those applications) is a glass or glazing whose light transmission properties are altered when voltage, light, or heat is applied. In general, the glass changes from transparent to translucent and vice versa, changing from letting light pass through to blocking some wave lengths of lightand vice versa.

Smart glass technologies include electrochromic, photochromic, thermochromic, suspended-particle, microblind, and polymer-dispersed liquid-crystal devices.

Applications:

After Power on

Laminated Glass

Laminated glass is a type of safety glass made by sandwiching a layer of plastic (usually polyvinyl butyral or PVB) between two or more layers of glass. This construction makes the glass more resilient to impacts, as the plastic layer holds the glass fragments together upon breakage, reducing the risk of injury from sharp shards. Laminated glass is commonly used in applications where safety and security are paramount, such as automotive windshields, building windows, and glass doors. It can also offer benefits like sound insulation and UV protection.

Applications:

Shower Enclosures

Security & Safety Glass

Room Dividers

Insulating Glass

Insulating glass, also known as thermal glass or double glazing, consists of two or more glass panes separated by a space filled with air or gas, typically argon or krypton. This design creates a thermal barrier that reduces heat transfer between the inside and outside of a building, improving energy efficiency and maintaining more stable indoor temperatures. Insulating glass is commonly used in windows and doors to enhance insulation, reduce heating and cooling costs, and increase comfort levels within a building.

Applications:

Hospitals & Schools

Buildings

Hotels & Restaurants

Trains & Ships

Tempered Glass
Tempered glass is a type of safety glass that is processed through thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared to regular glass. This process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it, creating surface compression and edge tension. As a result, tempered glass is significantly stronger than regular glass and is more resistant to impact and thermal stress. When tempered glass breaks, it shatters into small, blunt fragments rather than sharp shards, reducing the risk of injury. Due to its strength and safety features, tempered glass is commonly used in various applications where safety is paramount, such as automotive windows, shower doors, glass doors, and table tops.

Fluted Glass
Fluted glass, also known as ribbed or textured glass, features vertical grooves or ridges running along its surface. These grooves can vary in depth, width, and spacing, creating a distinctive visual and tactile texture. Fluted glass is often used in architectural applications such as interior partitions, doors, and windows to add privacy while allowing light to pass through. It is also utilized in decorative elements like lampshades and furniture to enhance aesthetic appeal and create visual interest.

Applications:

Room Dividers

Shower Enclosures

Sandblasted Glass
Sandblasted Glass
Sandblasted glass, also known as frosted glass, is created by spraying a high-pressure stream of sand or other abrasive materials onto the surface of the glass. This process etches the glass surface, creating a frosted or opaque appearance while still allowing light to pass through. Sandblasted glass is commonly used for privacy purposes in windows, doors, and partitions, as well as for decorative purposes in signage, mirrors, and glassware. It can also be combined with other techniques, such as stenciling or masking, to create intricate designs and patterns on the glass surface

Applications:

Shower Enclosures

Room Dividers
